This Privacy Policy applies to BillRoute and BillRoute Pay, which are operated by Tech Prop Advisors LLC, doing business as BillRoute (“BillRoute,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including but not limited to: name, email address, company name, phone number, and invoice-related information necessary to provide our services. If you sign up for BillRoute Pay as a vendor, we also collect your business details and, if you choose to receive text messages, your mobile phone number.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our invoice automation services
  • Process and route invoices according to your configuration
  • Apply AI-driven GL coding and validation
  • Send notifications about invoice status and approvals
  • Send BillRoute Pay account and payout text messages to vendors who opt in
  • Improve our AI models using anonymized, aggregated data
  • Communicate about service updates and new features

3. Data Security

Invoice data and financial information are processed and stored securely with industry-standard encryption. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.

4. Third-Party Integrations

BillRoute integrates with third-party systems including ResMan, Coupa, and standard ERP platforms. Data shared with these systems is governed by their respective privacy policies. Text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with these systems.

5. Data Retention

Invoice data and processing records are retained for the duration of your service agreement plus any legally required retention period. You may request deletion of your data upon account termination.

6. Text Messages (SMS)

If you choose to receive text messages from BillRoute Pay, we use your mobile number only to send you the account and payout notifications you asked for. Message frequency varies with your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or email support@billroute.com.
